God Did It 4 You — Do It 4 God

doit4God is a Catholic lay apostolate ministry

Our Mission
To help Catholics who have drifted from regular practice stay connected through warmth, humour, and genuine theological depth.
Our Story

doit4God was founded by an ordinary Catholic parishioner who looked around at the people leaving the pews and felt a call to do something.

No institution commissioned it. No foundation funded it. It began with a small gift — the ability to tell a story in four panels — and a conviction that the Catholic who has quietly drifted from regular practice deserved something that made the faith look worth returning to.

The result is The Journey of Dohntbe A. Cinaman.

“I’m not a theologian, a journalist, or a professional artist. I’m an engineer and an ordinary Catholic in the pew who wanted to help fellow Catholics stay the course. If this strip reaches one person who re-engages in our wonderful journey to God, it will have been worth every moment spent.”
Why this matters
76%
of US Catholics are lapsed or marginal
CARA data: only 24% of US Catholics attend Mass weekly — roughly 46 million are lapsed or marginal. Most Catholic media reaches the 24% in the pew.

doit4God is built for the 76% who aren’t.
Where we are heading

In addition to the Dohntbe strip and audio programme, future programmes under development include support for parish lector formation, assistance with parish communications and sound systems, and a curated resource library for Catholic educators.

We are building carefully — one programme at a time.
